Course Content:
A practical, hands on workshop designed to give attendees knowledge and practical skills to assist their understanding and teaching of social skills, and to help participants:
-
develop an understanding of why we need relationships and friendships, typical social development and challenges for children that impact on friendships/relationships.

gain knowledge of practical and useful strategies to implement successful social skills programmes with students.
Who should attend?
Teachers, Teacher Aides, SENCOs, School Principals, School Councillors, RTLBs, SLTs, OTs, GSE Staff, Psychologists, other Service Providers, and Families.

Registrations can be made online, by fax to 06 845 2607, or by post on official registration forms only. If registering online you may make payment via credit card, direct credit, or post a cheque. If registering by post, please complete and mail with your payment to Creating Success, 1/66 Nalanda Crescent, Broadmeadows, Wellington 6035.
All registrations will be confirmed by email (or post where email is not supplied) once payment has been received.
Numbers will be limited for each seminar so early registration is recommended.
